Neurodivergent Learners

A school-led wellness system for emotional regulation, calmer classrooms, and stronger school-family connection.

BreathTone™ Regulate & Rise gives elementary schools a simple, repeatable wellness rhythm built around breath, movement, and reset, led by teachers.

Practical Regulation Tools for Neurodivergent Learners

Neurodivergent learners bring unique strengths, creativity and ways of experiencing the world. They may also encounter challenges with attention, transitions, sensory overload, frustration or anxiety. Our goal is simple: give learners practical tools they can learn, practice and eventually choose for themselves.

The Body Already Has a Remote Control

Every human body has built-in systems that influence energy, attention and emotional state. Through intentional breathing, movement, rhythm and sensory awareness, learners can begin discovering ways to influence their own state. The goal isn’t forced calmness. It’s helping a learner recognize what they’re feeling and discover something they can do about it.

16 Guided Breath and Movement Practices

The BreathTone™ Neurodivergent Learner Program includes 16 guided breath and movement practices designed to be taught, repeated and reinforced throughout the school year. Practices incorporate breathing, finger-touch patterns, rhythmic and cross-body movement, grounding and visual sequencing, with adaptations for different sensory, communication and physical needs.

These practices can be used one-on-one or in small groups, giving educators and support teams the flexibility to help one learner or several students who may need support at the same time.

Tools They Can Use in Real Life

Before school. During a difficult transition. At lunch when sensory input becomes overwhelming. Before reading or challenging schoolwork. Or when frustration begins to build.

With repetition, the goal is to move from:

“Someone is telling me to calm down.”
to
“I know something I can try.”

The program complements IEPs, occupational therapy, counseling and other individualized supports. Qualifying Colorado schools may also be able to use available grant funding to support implementation.
